With roots in Connecticut and a home now in central Illinois, we exhibit

at nearly twenty shows each year throughout New England and the

Midwest. This gives us the opportunity to stay in personal contact with

as many of our clients as possible.

Our web site allows us to feature recently acquired pieces and be

responsive 24/7 to collectors and clients across the country who

have questions, special requests, or items they'd like to sell. We're

always interested in purchasing distinctive, high quality pieces.

Since 1990 we've pursued the rare, the unusual and the whimsical.

We specialize in functional folk art and in 17th, 18th, and early 19th

century antiques of authentic and unaltered character, each

thoughtfully chosen and thoroughly researched. The standards we use

in selecting pieces for our clients are those we use in selecting pieces

for ourselves.

We absolutely guarantee that every piece will be as represented, and

we make every attempt to illustrate in our photos and reflect in our

descriptions any details of condition beyond appropriate wear from age

and use. We sell what we love—distinctive, high quality pieces—and

we want you to love them too. If for some reason you don't, let us

know within two days of receipt and return the piece in original

condition for a full refund, minus any costs we've incurred to put it in

your hands.

Where possible, we pack and ship purchased pieces ourselves to keep

costs minimal. Where circumstances make that impractical, we use

professional shippers and the customer pays only the actual cost.
